I was going to be the last person to hold out and not have a Pinterest. I failed. I was looking something up for my mission prep and it brought me to Pinterest and I realized- it's actually a great way to find Mission-prep ideas.

So... here's where I'm keeping my current ideas:

In the mean time, I'm working and working and working and getting ready for my meeting with the Stake President on Sunday. It's getting closer and closer. I keep having dreams about where I might go- Iceland, Minnesota.... somehow I think they're not really inspired dreams yet... :)

Love Always.

Time Keeps Moving On

I hope you didn't expect me to keep posting every single day. Well.. I guess I haven't missed a day yet. BUT, I definitely underestimated how much time I would have for this and for mission preparation. It feels like I have have hardly any time at all. Especially with work.

I will keep working on it though. I'm sure I'll post after my meeting with the stake and then of course I will post when I know when and where I am going. This will also be kept as my missionary blog once I leave (with help from the fam). So don't give up on me quite yet.

For now.. here is a little proof of two things: 1. I work (it was taken at our studio) and 2. Love Always is still my motto...

Anyway... this will likely be the end of my sixty-something day streak of writing, but I'll still try to keep consistent.

I Hope They Call Me on A Mission

Well the EVOLUTION OF A TESTIMONY project is over. However, that doesn't mean that my testimony has stopped evolving.

There's been more growth sense, and I assume lots more to come.

I'm now onto my last stage in my mission papers- I have a meeting with the Stake on Sunday and they my papers can go on on the 30th. After that, it's somewhere between 1-3 weeks until I know where I will be going.

One thing I forgot to write about (in my journal and on here) was from Mother's day. On Mother's day, I went to church with my family. There were plenty of talks about mothers, but it also happened to be a missionary's farewell. So, in a combined effort- the primary children sang a medly of "I hope they call me on a mission" and "We'll bring the world his truth". It was awesome.

I'm getting anxious to find out where the Lord needs me.
Soon enough.

Journal Entry 60: Unwritten

Journal entry 60 is blank. No pen smears, no tear stains, no nerdy signature. That's because journal entry 60 is yet to be written. I've caught up to the last page. I still have about 60 pages left to write in this journal and then I'm on to my missionary journal.

This project has taken me 2 months straight. The process has been such a good thing for me. Even if no one ever reads this, going back in my journals was a wonderful experiment for me. I've learned so much about myself and my testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has been re-enforced.

I'm so grateful that I wrote all of the entries that I did, so that I could look back before my mission and remember that I really have been converted to this gospel. God has been in my life every step of the way, whether I realized it then or not.

I've learned a lot from my past over the last 60 days. I learned that I have stronger faith than I thought I did. I learned that I've already witnessed miracles. I learned that God has been preparing me for a mission all along. And, of course, I re-learned the importance of loving always.

Love Always!
